If you had just one day…

If you had one full day to do something that would really have a positive, lasting impact on your business and your life, what would it be?

One full day — no cell phones, no emails, no place to be — to do something you know would matter.

I’m not talking about a full day strategy off-site with your leadership team. I’m talking about doing something that you keep telling yourself you wish you had time to do, but never get around to doing. Something that only you as the leader of your organization can do and should do.  Maybe it is a day to yourself, maybe with your executive coach, but something where you can step away from the maelstrom of daily activity and think through some ideas, issues, ambitions and visions without distraction. A day you can invest in yourself in a different way, in your own way, in a way that you (and others) could look back and say, “That was a day well spent.”

What would it be? What impact could it have?

Then, the question we all get to ask ourselves: If it could make that kind of difference, why haven’t we done it yet?
